I Need Fresh Water is proud to welcome The International RiverFoundation as a participating member in this website forum. The International RiverFoundation is a global non-political and non-profit organization that supports sustainable improvement and restoration of the world's river basins.

Each year, the International RiverFoundation awards the prestigious Riverprize, rewarding and recognizing efforts that provide examples of sustainable programs. Riverprize winners and finalists share their knowledge and experiences through Twinning,  a mentoring system supported by the International RiverFoundation.

Healthy river basins benefit all people and provide opportunities for communities dependent upon them to prosper.  We encourage our members to collaborate with the International RiverFoundation to find new ways to foster improved human health and sustainable economic development.
